September 23, 2008 - InfoWorld published "Angry IT workers: A ticking time bomb?" and quoted Keith Jones and Brian Dykstra about previous experiences with rogue systems administrators.  The article discusses some of the technical pitfalls corporations can face, such as undermanned and underappreciated IT staff, that can contribute to a rogue systems administrator.
 
September 22, 2008 - Keith Jones became an assistant editor of the newsletter subcommittee for the Technology for the Litigator Committee of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association (ABA).  This new position will help shape the future of the Digital Matters newsletter.

July 1, 2008 - JD&A released a new computer forensics software tool suite, JDAFTS, for free internet download. JDAFTS, which stands for Jones Dykstra & Associates Forensic Tool Suite, extends beyond the capabilities of currently-available forensic software applications. Easy to use, the tool suite allows forensics professionals to import, analyze, compare, and export electronic activity logs from many sources including web browser activities, Windows Recycle Bins, and software packages like EnCase® and Forensic Toolkit® (FTK). The tool includes unique functionality such as time line creation and graphical "Quick Reports" from several different types of data sources.
